Teacher’s day was celebrated on the 5th of September, every year, in honor of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan. Teacher’s day celebration for this year was organized by the PTA members at the school premises.
The celebration started with the welcome address followed by an invocation dance by Dyuti of I C, Dhruti of III C and Vritti of IV A. This was followed by a poem recital by Aavya of V B, keyboard performance by Sanjay Anand of VA and Eyati of class VI, speech by Viswajeth of VB, a song performance by class VII students and a hoola hoop performance by the students of class VI.
The tiny tots of class I sang rhymes which delighted everyone. There was a fashion show for the teachers and all the teachers participated enthusiastically while the students cheered them. Principal Ma’am addressed the gathering and thanked the PTA members for the grand celebration. Finally, the vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs. Vandana Prasad, PTA member. Snacks and drinks were served to the teachers after the celebrations.
