Students of BVM Global @ Bengaluru, celebrated Rakshabandhan by tying Rakhi to the Policemen at Hulimavu Police Station on 12th August, 2017.
A short cultural program was organized for them. The function started by invoking god’s blessings followed by speech on the importance of Rakshabandhan by Fathima of Class VI. The students of classes 7 & 8 sang patriotic song to entertain the staff. Rakshabandhan was started by Samhita, the sports Captain of Grade 7 tying the Rakhi to PSI Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Mahajan. The program concluded by vote of thanks given by Ms.Mangala and Mr.Shambuling.
Students were excited to interact with the Policemen. They also had an opportunity to go around the Police Station and have a look at the cell, accounts dept, armery, etc. The Policemen gave a demonstration on how the tools were used while chasing the robbers. Chocolates were distributed to the students. At the end, PSI Mr.Sanjeev Kumar Mahajan addressed the students by showing his gratitude towards the initiative taken by BVM Global @ Bengaluru. He also motivated the students to be ambitious in life and to bring name and fame to the school.
