Sunday, 2nd April, 2017, was a significant day for BVM Global @ Bengaluru as the Vaastu Homam Pooja was conducted at the new school campus at Begur Koppa road, Hulahalli. The pooja of the new school building was done in a grand manner. The floral decoration, the mango leaf toran at the entrance, the nadaswaram music and the colourful rangoli set the atmosphere for the puja to seek the blessings of the almighty. The pooja was performed by the Managing trustee Mr. Ramana Prasad and Mrs. AmritRamana Prasad. At the outset, Lord Ganesha, the God of all beginnings and remover of obstacles, was invoked with grand floral decorations and garlands. The three priests who performed the pooja chanted mantras and shlokas in unison that reverberated throughout the surroundings. This was followed by the kalasha puja and the homam. Offerings of fruits, flowers, different cereals, ghee and money were made to the Fire God as well as the navagraha or the nine planets. The ceremony was attended by the entire staff of BVM Global @ Bengaluru. Several parents accompanied by their children attended this special ceremony and, rendered their encouragement and support to the school in this fresh beginning. The pooja was completed with the mangalarati and prasad distribution.
