KG Children had an activity - ‘Yummy treat for tummy’ - on the theme for this month - ‘Fruits and Vegetables’. Children were asked to bring any one fruit of their choice from home.
The children gathered in the lobby for this activity. The fruits were washed and cut. Teachers motivated children to sing a few rhymes on fruits. They also spoke about single-seeded and many-seeded fruits. Children were asked to preserve the seeds of the fruits (by making a seed ball) and sow them again.
Fruit Salad was prepared by mixing all the fruits with honey. It was given to the children for tasting during their snack time.
