Students of classes 6, 7 and 8 had a wonderful session by Mr. Vinayak, who is currently a practitioner of natural farming, about Earth’s beauty and the bounties that mother earth offers us. He stressed upon the differences between chemical framing and natural farming, and also discussed in a very interactive way the need to switch to natural farming. He also touched upon on how certain scientific innovations related to farming have in reality turned a bane to our surroundings and man’s health. He shared with the students some easy and economical methods that are followed in natural farming. He encouraged children to be more involved with nature, step out of concrete setups and visit farms or forests during vacations.
