Diwali, the festival of lights, was celebrated in the school lobby with the Kindergarten students on 28th October, 2016. The tastefully decorated lobby and the students who were dressed in ethnic wear lent a festive fervour to the occasion.
The tiny tots from Pre-KG sang the song, ‘Diwali Aayee’ with great enthusiasm while the LKG students sang the song, ‘Deepavali Nalla Deepavali’ and the bhajan, ‘Khaate Bhi Ram Kaho’ to add to this festive mood. The UKG students sang ‘Ayi Diwali’ as a group, but solo performances of dances and songs also attracted the attention of all present at the celebration. The children went back to their respective classes and were given decorated “Diyas” as take homes. Thus everyone departed carrying the message of love and joy.
