Dasara was celebrated in our school on 28th of September’16 with great zeal during GC period. Students of classes I-V took part in the celebration.
Sanvi of class V anchored the event beautifully. To begin the celebration students of Classes I A and B sang a melodious song in Kannada. This was followed by Raga Keerthana and Akshitha of class II C sharing a few words on the significance of the festival in Tamil, followed by a song presented by the students of classes II A and II B. A few girls of classes III A and III B danced to a medley of songs adding festivity to the occasion. Saachi from class IV A and Ananya from class IV B flashed more light on the day by saying a few words about the festival in English. A few more students of class IV and V brought in the festive spirit by presenting a drama –“Mahishasura Mardhini”. As a concluding program, the students of class V sang the Mysore state song. The event came to an end with the National Anthem.
