Project Day 2017-18

7th  project day of BVM Global @ Bengaluru was conducted with great pomp and show in their own campus at Begur.  The project themes for the academic year 2017-18 were various. The Kindergartens of BVM Global took up Transport, Living and non-living things and parts of a plant, BVMi took up birds and Energy was the theme for BVM Global.  Eshan of Class V A did the compering of the official function. The official function started with invoking the blessings from the almighty.  Ms. Shakti, the co-ordinator of the project day welcomed our chief guest Mr. Omshivaramakrishnan, Head of Academics and Vocational business unit of Edexcel, our guest of honour Ms. Padma R Singh, Head of Little Elly Preschool,  Ms. Amrit Ramana Prasad, Trustee, BVM Global group of schools and BVM International Chennai and Bangalore , Ms. Jayanti, Deputy director, Education BVM Global group and BVM International to the gathering. Shashank of class V B and Varsha of class VIII briefed the project topics for each class.  Topics were: Class 1: Energy in our daily life, Class 2:  Energy in the living world, Class 3: Time line of Energy, Class 4: Solar Energy, Class 5: Hydro electricity, Class 6: Sources of Energy, Class 7: Principles and Conversion of Energy, Class 8: Classification and Conservation of Energy.

Thereafter, students of classes V and VI rendered an energizing song on the theme followed by a video presentation on the making of our Project Day.  Our chief guest for the day, Mr. Omshivaramakrishnan announced the launch of BVMi and addressed the gathering, Ms. Sukanya Sai Sateesh, Deputy Head BVMi elaborated on the functioning of BVMi. Our guest of honour, Ms. Padma R Singh appreciated the students and teachers hard work.  She also talked about the importance of the role of a teacher in shaping the student’s career. 

Every year, BVM Global felicitates its students for their academic excellence during the Project Day. Students of classes 3 and 4 received a certificate of Merit from Ms. Padma R Singh and 6,7 and 8 from Mr. Omshivaramakrishnan. Students who had 100% attendance during the first term of 2017-18 were also given a certificate of appreciation. The official function concluded with a vote of thanks given our honourable Principal Ms. Suman Kalra.
