Sanskrit, an ancient Indian language is considered to be the mother of all languages. It is gaining popularity across the world. The students of BVM Global @ Bengaluru celebrated the ‘Sanskrit Day’ on 7th September 2017. The program was initiated by invoking the blessings of the almighty. Aditya Ravi of Class VIII spoke a few words on the language. Sri Saathvika of class VIII narrated a story on Sage Valmiki that led to the creation of the epic - the Ramayana. The day when Sage Valmiki chanted a shloka seeking blessings from Lord Rama is celebrated as ‘Sanskrit Day’. Students of class IV and V recited shlokas. The celebration concluded with a skit performed by class VI students.
